A quick check of specs shows the new unit is Quad core,which is twice the first generation. It has better bluetooth, better wi-fi AND it has voice search too. So, not even close. This should be a much better device!

Download kodi to the fire stick. By watching a YouTube video for instructions. It opens up a whole world of free streaming and it is awesome. You won't need Netflix or Hulu.

With the Fire TV you can use an external micro sd card, you have the option to connect a Ethernet cable directly for a much faster internet connection instead of using wifi signals, you don't get as much heat consumption from the fire tv as you do with the fire stick which can cause the freezing of your television and … see more

I would prefer to tell Alexa to start Hulu and watch a tv show... rather than looking for the tiny remote that gets lost frequently... and then if i find it... press a button and then speak what i should have been able … see more
